Jill originally trained in classical ballet, tap and modern dance then, after working as a professional dancer, moved into arts administration.
In the West End she worked as Production Assistant on the original productions of Once a Catholic, Steaming, Outside Edge and Bent. She was for two years Assistant Administrator of Central School of Ballet and for 12 years worked as Associate Producer for Charles Vance, producing and managing national tours, repertory seasons and pantomimes, at the same time as co-editing Amateur Stage Magazine and editing four editions of the Amateur Theatre Yearbook.
Whilst in London Jill taught adult evening classes in ballet, before moving to Woodbridge in 1996. Between 2000 and 2010 Jill was General Manager of Eastern Angles Theatre Company, since when she has been working freelance.
Recent projects include producing a one-man show at the Edinburgh Fringe, and providing tour-booking, fundraising and financial services for small arts organisations.
She is delighted to be teaching again and looks forward to welcoming you to one of these friendly, informal dance classes.
